Privacy Policy — WeMind Autofill

WeMind Autofill helps healthcare practitioners fill forms in their practice-management systems using a session transcript or summary they provide. This policy explains exactly what data the extension handles, where it goes, and what we never do with it.
Data we process
Data | Why | Where it goes |
Your WeMind account email and password | Sign-in and verifying your subscription plan | Sent only to the WeMind API over HTTPS. The password is never stored by the extension; only short-lived session tokens are kept in Chrome's extension storage. |
The transcript or summary you paste or upload | Generating suggested values for form fields | Sent over HTTPS to the WeMind Autofill service to generate suggestions. It is processed in memory and not stored by the extension, unless you choose to keep the data to fill another form on the plugin. |
Form field structure of the page you are viewing (field labels, types, dropdown options and not values you typed) | Detecting which fields exist so suggestions can be mapped to them | Same as above. Values you have typed into a page are never collected or transmitted. |
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not transfer it to third parties. We do not collect browsing history, cookies, keystrokes, or any page content beyond the form structure of the page where you explicitly run the extension. Nothing is transmitted until you click "Generate" yourself.
Storage and retention
Session tokens live in Chrome's extension storage and expire automatically. Transcripts are kept only in memory during a session; the suggestions cache clears unless you choose the option to fill another form using the same data. AI requests are not used to train models.
Security
All communication uses HTTPS. The extension holds no AI or cloud credentials; AI calls are made server-side. Access requires an active WeMind subscription.
Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the GDPR and UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact us to exercise them, or manage your account data directly in the WeMind app.
